You can never get rid of bad habits in a few days but you can definitely have a goal and work towards it. Way Of Life is an application that will change your life for the better and make you more confident and responsible. We spoke to the developer of this App who spoke about the inspiration behind the App and the key elements to keep in mind while developing good habits.

1. Way of life App looks very promising. How did you come up with the idea for this?

I used to track my lifestyle with pen and paper, using the same red/green system as the app uses today. I simply build on that idea.

 2. How many days do people need to change from bad to good habits?

That’s a really hard question and the only right answer might be: it depends on what kind of habit you’re trying to build or break.

 3. Can you explain more about the App’s features?

One of the really neat features is the streak or chain feature. It’ll keep track of how many days in a row you’ve had success build or breaking a habit. You can either set a manual target, say 21 days doing yoga, or you can set a target where you’re constantly trying to beat your own personal best, hence always improving more and more.

Another handy feature is the daily notepad. It’s readily available simply by swiping and it allows for fast entry of the reason you might fail doing the right thing. It’s sort of a personal reflection that’s summed up in the note section for deeper inspection/analysis once in a while.

However, the feature that people really like is the nice charts that allow you to see your progress over time.

Finally, I have to mention the reminder feature. Way of Life has some of the most versatile reminders. You can set up reminders for groups of habits, a single habit, set repeat patterns, etc. etc. They really help to nudge you towards success.

 4. Would you like to highlight anything about the importance of changing habits for leading a  good life?

Changing habits is one of the primary keys to changing your life towards a better life. No doubt about it.

 5. What kind of feedback are you receiving from your users?

Do you mean the 6000+ reviews with a 4.8 average star-rating? 🙂 Seriously, I get a lot of constructive feedback from my users. I have some very loyal users and they always come up with cool new features or minor tweaks to improve the app.

 6.  Which App marketing tools do you use now? How do you track reviews and what do you think about ReviewsCollect?

To be honest, I’m new to ReviewsCollect, but it looks nice and I like your human approach to interviewing app developers. Thank you for the opportunity.

I’ve been using AppFigures for a long time to track reviews. As for marketing tools, I’ve tried many: Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Facebook, etc… However, it seems that word-of-mouth is the best marketing.
